Publications :: Huguenot Families
Huguenot Families was first launched in 1999 as a half-yearly journal devoted to the encouragement and development of research into Huguenot genealogy and family history. It is available to both Fellows and members of the public.
Past articles in this journal have highlighted the documents through which family
connections may be traced, such as extracts from local records or
specific lists of names. Some of those sources can be found in the
Society's library, but Huguenot Families has also drawn
attention to information existing elsewhere and to useful material
appearing in other publications.
An especial
feature of Huguenot Families has been the input provided by
members of the Society, and by others claiming Huguenot
descent, and the present editor - Michael Gandy - continues to
welcome contributions which promote the interchange of ideas. Pieces
of information, questions, and short articles for publication should
be sent by email to
mgandy@clara.co.uk.
We
are sorry to announce that Tony Fuller, 2007 editor of Huguenot
Families, has had to resign for personal reasons, and that issue
number 18 has been delayed until June. However, issue number 19 will
be going out with the autumn mailing and subscriptions (£5.00,
£6.00 EU) are still being accepted for 2008 by:
